"Above the Fold: Graphics at The New York Times" (2007) is a presentation I delivered for the Design | Media Arts department at UCLA on 31 October 2007 in room 5261 of the Broad Arts Center. The prentation is a discussion of my experiences as a graphics editor intern for the summer of 2007. The main topics of the presentation were:

• the internship selection process
• the work environment and culture
• the graphics department's mission
• NYT style and design standards
• the graphics reporting workflow (from assignment to publication)
• several project examples from his work
