Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) February 02, 2012

As a leader in custom printed shirts, Rush Order Tees is committed to acquiring the best talent at all levels and aspects of the business. To grow as a market leader among providers of custom printed shirts for consumers is of course a principal goal. Beyond that, were committed to extending the level of service, quality and value consumers have come to expect from us – to corporate buyers of company shirts and uniforms. Marketing our business friendly message to corporate buyers is a priority as we continue to enhance the consumer experience in designing custom printed shirts online.

The addition of Ron Reed to the leadership team brings broad-reaching experience and depth to the Company. Rons experience in marketing across all major disciplines – Internet (SEM, SEO, Site Design, et al.), social (SMM), email, multimedia, TV, radio, direct & print – is already proving a valuable asset to the Company. Ron has managed marketing, IT, and broadly applicable business and contract management projects at a senior executive level. He has been the senior PM on the development of new websites and redesigns of existing ones. His work has been instrumental in aligning organizational missions and specific departmental objectives and strategies across marketing (Internet-based & traditional), sales leadership, IT, HR and operations to support objectives in revenue, lead generation, talent acquisition, operational effectiveness and the development of strategic alliances.

Prior to joining the Rush Order Tees team, Ron worked for Venture 3 Systems (creators of Telikin brand computers for seniors) as the Web Marketing Manager where he created and managed all online marketing initiatives and the companys web presence. This included marketing across all the leading search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing) plus all social marketing (Facebook & Twitter) as well as all display ads, web-alliances and content marketing. After inheriting the companys seven month old YouTube Channel with only 165 views, Ron took sole ownership of the project to bring the channel past 20,000 views in under five months and making YouTube a consistent top-5 referral site for the business.

Ron proposed and managed major site improvements to enhance the visitor experience, increase conversion rate by web and phone, and to drive technical SEO & SEM improvements (including relevance and quality). Ron proposed and contributed to the expansion and training of personnel for phone sales to align the web, media and sales messages under an Integrated Marketing Communications plan to support both B2C sales and B2B strategic initiatives with major retail partners including Best Buy, Sears / K-Mart, Radio Shack, Frys and Amazon. Ron also created and managed the companys direct Amazon listings and enhanced Amazons own product listings through personally authored submissions and direct communications with Amazon.

Before his success with Telikin computers, Ron led web, social and email marketing and initiatives for Pleasant Valley Home Mortgage (a $ 450-million lender) during a growth stage that saw the company expand significantly throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Ron managed all SEM, SMM and the full development of a completely new company web-site and CPC landing pages leading to dramatic increases in lead generation (the principal objective) in excess of 150%.

As the Vice President of Marketing and Operations with OPG Global & Staffing.org for five years, Ron acted as senior project manager on the highest priority initiatives including the development of all new affiliate web sites, related e-marketing, and operational matters including the management of two major office relocations and expansions, assistance with VC investor relations, and the development of strategic alliances, sponsorships, paid advertisers, and public agencies. When the Companys flagship site for over ten years (Staffing.org) was purchased, Ron focused on Staffing.org where he stayed and continued duties as the Vice President of Marketing & Online Media at the behest of new ownership even beyond the companys eventual out-of-state relocation before ultimately accepting an offer from the more locally based Pleasant Valley Home Mortgage.

Building on his work managing corporate marketing, online media and business operations, Ron worked for Allstate, Inc. as a member of its corporate marketing team focusing on the companys then newly acquired workplace group division. Working closely with the Senior Director of Sales, Ron took ownership of marketing communications with a focus on B2B proposal writing for all corporate Sales Managers throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey regions. Ron codified results, established and reported key performance indicators for the region while creating collateral in line with corporate communications policy. To better contribute to the organization, Ron acquired full insurance licenses in six lines to become a legally recognized authority on subject matter in collateral, e-communications, and business proposals.

Preceding his work with Allstate, Ron accepted a role as Business Manager which led to promotions to Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Information Officer of Basement Dr. & MD Environmental, Inc. – a large construction and remediation company with $ 45 million in annual revenue and over 500 employees with five offices in PA, NJ, DE, MD and NY. Under both CMO and CIO roles, Ron was ultimately responsible for all media buying, marketing initiatives and major corporate technology contracts.

Ron shifted investments in IT and marketing by personally sourcing, bidding and negotiating multiple new contracts which ultimately led to the company saving an average of $ 50,000 in monthly recurring costs. Ron established metrics and KPIs as more effective resources for executive leadership and middle management. His initiatives across marketing, IT and talent management led to improved effectiveness, drastically improved alignment with regulatory agencies and increases in lead quantity and quality while further establishing Rons senior leadership, project management, marketing, and contract negotiations skills.

Ron has been published in print and online as an in-house Senior Researcher, Technical Writer and Editor with two of the worlds leading publishers – McGraw-Hill Companies and Reed-Elsevier. With both organizations, Ron specialized on writing for business and industry. His exceptional research and writing work led to multiple promotions, bonuses and recognitions for contributions of quality and quantity in each of these leading global organizations. Ultimately his experience and access to high-level business leaders in these companies and strategically partnered organizations yielded massive insight into business management, contracting, marketing and leadership laying an exceptional foundation for Rons professional career.

Ron has also worked as a professional corporate speaker on time and team management under Day-Timers Inc.s contract with Stephen Covey – author of the best-selling Seven Habits of Highly Successful People which served as the foundation for corporate speaking events.

Ron is already proving to be a valuable addition to the Rush Order Tees organization as he works with leadership, the team, and external partners to further develop the companys marketing strategy, online presence, corporate mission, long term and priority objectives, and new product offerings to support the expansion and growth of Printfly and Rush Order Tees. Im honored to be a member of the team and look forward to expanding awareness of companys value proposition to consumers and businesses.

The Bible: Predictions Come True

By Wilma Melendez

Many people scoff at the Bible because it says that God created life, yet if we look at NASA’s search for life, we see the creation story has a lot of scientific truth. The Bible has preceded many scientific discoveries. The Bible even predicted the Chernobyl disaster.

Many scientists doubt the Bible, before I tell about the future prophecies, I would like to digress and write about the Bible’s record of reliability. It took scientists centuries to discover the conditions necessary for life to be sustained: water, light and atmosphere. But in the Bible’s story of creation, the requirements are all there, written thousands of years before science began.

The Bible says “In the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth, and the Earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was upon the face of the waters. In this passage, “the deep” and the waters refer to the ocean which covered the whole Earth. “And God said, “Let there be light, and there was light.” (Genesis 1:1-3) and God created light. Water and light are two conditions that are necessary for any life form. Then the Bible says that God separated the waters below form the water above. That is, he made clouds, and he made an atmosphere. This Biblical quote was written long before science existed. The Bible is far ahead of its time.

Some scientists reject the Bible, but they are looking for life in other planets based upon the same principles that are written in the Bible. Scientists want to explore the moon Europa, one of Saturn’s ice-covered moons to see if there is life underneath its ice-covered surface. This mission will take place many years from the time of this writing because the ice is 16 km thick, and they need samples beneath that layer. But it will reveal whether there is an ocean beneath the tough exterior and if there are microorganisms. Biologists and Astronomers believe that life on Earth would be like life on Earth, and that it begins with unicellular organisms.

Here on Earth, scientists have discovered that there are microorganisms living in the extreme conditions of the water below Antarctica. According to NASA, there are undersea volcanoes on Earth that create environments that can sustain rich colonies of microbes (from the article “Divining Water on Europa” found at http://science.msfc.nasa.gov/newhome/headlines/ast09sep991.htm. ). This is possible because light reaches through the transparent ice. Based on these findings, they believe life could exist on Europa, an ice covered body. Many of them do not admit that the Bible says life began with a planet covered by water and that God made life.

Those who believe that God did not make life, that life began spontaneously by itself in a “primordial soup”, are rejecting that law which is basic to science and to rational thinking. I learned that Pasteur discovered even if you have the right conditions to support life, life will not spontaneously begin to exist. Before his discovery, people thought that life would exist anywhere out of the blue. He sterilized a container and the people expected that microorganisms would grow like mold or bacteria. But they did not grow at all. Pasteur taught us sterilization. Pasteur’s discovery led to our bathing and to doctors sterilizing surgery implements. Without this law, (that life does not exist spontaneously), we would still be ignorant and in the dark ages of lack of hygiene and infant medicine.

The Bible has proven itself in the past. Consider how the Book of Revelation predicted the Chernobyl disaster. Christian news analyst Jack Van Impe tells how the name for Chernobyl translated from the Ukrainian is called “Wormwood” in English. The Bible says, “And the third angel sounded and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountain of the waters; And the name of the star was Wormwood: and a third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters because it became bitter.” Revelation 8:10-11. A star in this passage refers to nuclear energy. The Chernobyl disaster was predicted in God’s book before people knew what radiation was.

The Bible speaks to our time, prophesizing a time of great tribulation in which the sun will darken. There are two scientific theories of how that could happen in the near future. Jesus said, “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heaven shall be shaken.” (Mathew 24:29). First, Many Christians believe that the “stars from heaven” refers to missiles carrying multiple warheads launched into the sky. (In this passage, “heaven” is in lowercase, referring to the sky). According to scientists, a nuclear war could cause so much dust to be put into the atmosphere, that the sun could be unable to give its light, leading to the coldness of a nuclear winter.

Secondly, other Christians do not believe there will be a nuclear war. Nevertheless, they point out that the sun could stop shining for other reasons. Scientists have noticed that the amount of sun spots is increasing. Astronomists fear that if this trend continues, the sun could stop giving Earth most of its light. Both scientific theories, the nuclear winter theory and the increased sun spot theory, confirm Jesus’ words to us.

Many Christians who study the Bible are sure that we can escape from that terrible time by believing in Jesus. The Bible is a book of hope. These Christians are expecting Jesus to appear and take the believers with him to safety. “When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory” (Colossians 3:4). At the beginning of the book of Revelation, before the tribulation begins, it is written “behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him…” In the end, no matter what happens, believers will go to heaven and have eternal happiness.

Some scientists mock the Bible, its miracles and revelations because they do not understand how they can occur. Those scientists do not know yet that God made all things and can do anything, our mind can not understand. However, the more that is discovered about nature, the more realistic that the stories of the Bible seem. The majority of scientists believe in God, perhaps precisely because so much of nature is unfathomable and unexplainable, and so far God’s prophecies have come true. The accuracy of the Bible thus far is a lesson for us to read and study the Bible, as important or more as reading the news, to know what is likely to happen and how we can be saved.

You may be thinking that you want to know more about the topics in this article. You may want to read books about “apologetics”, which is the explanation of how the Bible is correct despite rationalist and scientific objections. And you may be curious about prophecy, I recommend “The Merciful God of Prophecy: His Loving Plan for You in the End Times”.

You Can Say so Much With Corporate Crystal and Large Chandeliers

By Miles Lovegrove

Are you looking for that perfect corporate gift for a person in your family, a friend, or a business associate? Are you looking for a creative way to award your employees? If you are, then you do have a number of options. However, only one of those options is going to give you the reaction that you deserve when presenting a corporate gift and that is corporate crystal.

Corporate crysta and large chandeliers are very beautiful, which is something you probably don’t have to be told. Maybe you have been in someone’s office and you have seen an award made out of crystal that specifies a certain achievement. Maybe there are several awards and a corporate paperweight made of crystal. Crystal can be laser engraved to say whatever the presenter wants it to say.

For business purposes

Corporate crystal can be used for a number of business purposes just like large chandeliers. Those purposes include as awards and as great gifts. As mentioned before, there are trophies that can be made of corporate crystal. These are fantastic when pointing out a certain achievement. If an employee achieves top sales for the month of January, then the trophy can say something such as, “Top sales for January 2009” or something to that effect. You can actually present these monthly awards and then present an even bigger trophy made of corporate crystal to the person with the top annual sales at the end of the year.

You can also use corporate crystal to be a great gift for your employees. This means that you can give them corporate paperweights or other small items to place upon their desks. You may even wish to have an employee appreciation week and give all of your employees a corporate crystal item to show your appreciation. It is easy to see that the possibilities are virtually endless.

For personal reasons

If you won’t be using corporate crystal for business reasons, then you can use them for personal reasons as well. Maybe you can get dad his own personal award that says, “#1 Dad.” Maybe you could even get mom corporate crystal with a quote or a short poem on it to let her know how much she means to you. The same goes for any family member or your friends.

Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries, achievements, and so much more can be great opportunities to present corporate crystal. These items are not just reserved for the business world. They are reserved for anyone who has a purpose for them and we all know that the purposes are many. It all depends on your imagination, but know if you’re ever hard up for a good gift idea, corporate crystal is a great route to take.

Both males and females love crystal, so it isn’t just something that is for one type of person. An individual can be a businessman or businesswoman, a housewife, a blue collar worker, a college student, a high school student, and so much more. Corporate crystal is wonderful for anyone for any occasion. So if you are trying to figure out what to give, you now have the perfect solution to that problem.

Different Types Of Contemporary Chandeliers

By Jo Williams

It wasn’t long ago that the mere mention of the word “chandelier” would conjure up images of lavish glass and crystal objects hanging in every room of some 18th century mansion. All right, so that may be a bit of an exaggeration, but the general impression people have regarding chandeliers is that they are too bold, too fancy, and most of all too expensive. While this may be true of some higher end chandelier designs, there are many different types of contemporary chandeliers that can add originality and style to your home at a very reasonable cost. What’s more, these chandeliers can offer a whole new way of looking at the rooms you may be taking for granted. Let’s examine some of the different types of contemporary chandeliers that may be a perfect fit in your life.

The main purpose that a contemporary chandelier serves is to give your home’s modern day beauty and style and that is exactly what they do. So look carefully and select wisely as this investment in a chandelier is here to stay

An Introduction To Chandeliers

By Susan Fielding

Chandeliers are special decorative lights that have been used now for many years. They are in themselves a very traditional form of lighting, and have an elaborate history.

Chandeliers have always been associated with elegance, wealth, and beauty. Originally, chandeliers were used in medieval churches for their efficient illumination of large halls. They were generally created in the form of a wooden cross with a number of spikes which candles could be secured to, and the whole assembly was hung from a rope suspended from the ceiling.

Today, chandeliers are often the centerpieces of a well decorated home. They are designed to float in the room as an important part of the decor, and are the perfect way to set the mood in your home.

The type of bulbs used for chandeliers are small, lower wattage bulbs that are generally formed in the shape of a candle flame, although not all chandeliers are limited to small bulbs. The chandeliers available now are far more colorful than they were in the past. They are reaching new heights with dazzling effects. Some chandeliers are so big they fill vast halls and are studded with precious stones and gold.

When selecting a chandelier for your home, it can become a little difficult as there are so many different varieties and sizes to choose from. Never in the long history of chandeliers has there been so much choice as there is today.

Some people prefer to choose an oversized chandelier for their room, as this can be used to complement the decor, but undersized chandeliers must be avoided unless you are planning to install more than one.

Custom made chandeliers are an option that is available which will give you the finish you require. These are beautifully designed to bring you years of enjoyment. Then there are crystal chandeliers which are one of the most traditional ways to compliment a dining room setting. They are valued for the warm light they give off and the sparkle they add to a room. Finally, there are wrought iron chandeliers which are classic yet still so elegant in their simplicity.

The position of the chandelier is very important so that you get the full benefit from the light it provides. If you are installing a chandelier in your dining room, it should be positioned precisely over the center of the table.

Once you have made your choice of the perfect chandelier, you will be able to sit back and enjoy the brilliant beauty that it adds to your home.
